Meet Our RadiologistsProfessional services are provided by Colorado Imaging Associates, a group of radiologists who have provided services at St. Anthony Hospitals since 1957 and founded Advanced Medical Imaging in 1991. Each physician is board certified by The American Board of Radiology. This group includes radiologists with extensive sub-specialty fellowship training and experience in all areas of diagnostic imaging, including MRI, Computerized Tomography (CT), Neuroradiology, Musculoskeletal Radiology, Interventional Radiology, Ultrasound, and Nuclear Medicine. As a group, they have interpreted over 100,000 MRI examinations. The radiologists also actively participate in medical research, serve as consultants on hospital and medical boards, and teach at nearby medical schools.
Clinton M. Anderson, M.D., F.A.C.R., President, a board certified radiologist, specializes in musculo-skeletal and body imaging with a special interest in Magnetic Resonance Imaging. Dr. Anderson completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Tennessee. He received his medical degree from Vanderbilt University, where he also completed his internship in Internal Medicine. He then moved to St. Louis, Missouri, where he completed a residency program in Diagnostic Radiology and a Fellowship in Magnetic Resonance Imaging at Washington University School of Medicine, Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology. Dr. Anderson joined Colorado Imaging Associates in 1993 and lives in the Denver area with his wife, two daughters and son. Dr. Anderson served as president of the Colorado Radiological Society in 2001-2002 and was councilor from the state of Colorado to the American College of Radiology from 2002-2008. Additionally, Dr. Anderson has served as President of Colorado Imaging Associates since 2008.
Benjamin A. Aronovitz, M.D., specializes in neuroradiology with special interest in musculoskeletal imaging. Dr. Aronovitz received his undergraduate degree at the University of Colorado and his medical degree from the State University of New York at Syracuse College of Medicine. He performed his internal medicine internship at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center and diagnostic radiology residency at the State University of New York at Syracuse. His neuroradiology fellowship was completed at Washington University School of Medicine, Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology in St. Louis. Dr. Aronovitz is board certified by the American Board of Radiology and joined Colorado Imaging Associates in 2005. He earned the certificate of additional qualifications in neuroradiology and is a senior member of the American Society of Neuroradiology. Dr. Aronovitz has served as President of the Colorado Radiological Society and is currently a counselor to the American College of Radiology. He enjoys skiing, hiking, golf, tennis, and sailing.
William G. Berger, M.D., a board certified radiologist, specializes in MRI, CT, Ultrasound, and Neuroradiology. Dr. Berger received his undergraduate degree at the University of San Diego and his medical degree at Georgetown University School of Medicine. He completed his internship at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ and went on to complete his residency at the University of Arizona in Diagnostic Radiology. Dr. Berger completed his fellowship in MRI, CT, and Ultrasound at the University of California, San Francisco. He joined Colorado Imaging Associates in 2008.
Brian L. Burke, M.D., a board certified radiologist, specializes in body imaging and ultrasound. Dr. Burke received his undergraduate degree at Duke University and his medical degree at the University of Kentucky. He completed an Internal Medicine internship at Kaiser Foundation Hospital in San Francisco followed by a Diagnostic Radiology residency at the University of California, San Francisco. Dr. Burke then completed a fellowship in cross sectional imaging at San Francisco General Hospital. He joined Colorado Imaging Associates in 2001 and lives in the Denver area with his wife and two children. He enjoys skiing and tennis.
Michael J. O'Brien, M.D., received his undergraduate degree in biochemistry at the University of California, Davis, and his medical degree at the University of Vermont College of Medicine. He completed an internship in Tucson, Arizona, followed by his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the University of Arizona. He completed his fellowship in Vascular Interventional Radiology at the University of California, San Francisco. Prior to joining Colorado Imaging Associates in 2008, Dr. O'Brien served as an Assistant Professor of Radiology at the University of Arizona. He has been board-certified since 2002 and received a Certificate of Added Qualification in Vascular and Interventional Radiology in 2005. He has extensive experience in the management of liver disease including biliary disease, portal hypertension, and hepatic malignancy. He and his wife live in Denver, along with their young son. He enjoys playing basketball and golf.
Jeffrey P. Guay, M.D., a board certified radiologist, specializes in Neuroradiology. He received his undergraduate degree at The University of Arizona as well as his medical degree. He completed a transitional internship at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ, followed by a Diagnostic Radiology residency at The University of Arizona. Dr. Guay then completed a fellowship in Neuroradiology at Stanford University. He joined Colorado Imaging Associates in early 2007.
Stephen W. Humes, M.D., a board certified radiologist, specializes in Nuclear Medicine and Interventional Radiology. Dr. Humes received his medical degree from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. He completed a transitional residency at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, MN, including rotations in Surgery, Neurosurgery, Vascular Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Internal Medicine and Emergency Medicine. He went on to complete a dual residency with fellowship at the University of Miami in Diagnostic Radiology and Nuclear Medicine. Dr. Humes completed additional fellowships in Interventional Radiology and Cardiac MRI at Northwestern University in Chicago, IL. He serves on the faculty at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. He joined Colorado Imaging Associates in early 2007.
Robert A. Leibold, M.D., is a board certified radiologist specializing in emergency medicine and musculoskeletal radiology. Dr. Leibold completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. He earned his medical degree at St. Louis University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri. He completed one of two residencies in Emergency Medicine at Darnall Army Community Hospital in Ft. Hood. The second residency was completed in Diagnostic Radiology at St. Louis University Health Sciences Center in St. Louis, Missouri. He remained in St. Louis to complete a fellowship in Musculoskeletal Radiology at Washington University School of Medicine, Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology. Dr. Leibold joined Colorado Imaging Associates in 2001. He has been published numerous times and has been awarded several medals of achievement and leadership by the US Army. Currently, Dr. Leibold acts as the Quality Improvement coordinator for Advanced Medical Imaging and Colorado Imaging Associates. He also serves on St. Anthony Central Hospital's Trauma Quality Improvement committee as well as the hospital wide Peer Review committee.
Christopher J. Leoni, M.D., joined Colorado Imaging Associates in 2000. After completing medical school at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, Dr. Leoni completed a Radiology Residency and Vascular Interventional Fellowship at the Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital, Harvard Medical School. Dr. Leoni is board certified in Vascular and Interventional Radiology and specializes in the treatment of patients with venous diseases, arterial aneurysms, and cancer. He is the head of the Vascular and Interventional Radiology section at St. Anthony Hospital in Denver. Dr. Leoni is also the director of the Advanced Medical Imaging Vein Center where he takes an active role in the care of patients with venous diseases.
Vicky L. Mann, D.O., has served as Director of Trauma Imaging Services for Colorado Imaging Associates since 1998. She completed her undergraduate degree at Baylor University in Waco, Texas and earned her degree in Osteopathic Medicine at the College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific in Pomona, California. Her residency in diagnostic radiology was completed at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver. Dr. Mann completed a fellowship in ER /Trauma / Interventional Radiology at the University of Miami, Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida. Dr. Mann enjoys running, cycling, hiking, reading and traveling.
Gen John Maruyama, M.D., joined Colorado Imaging Associates in July of 2006. He completed his undergraduate and medical degrees from Boston University. After his internship he completed his residency in radiology at the University of California San Francisco. He then completed an Magnetic Resonance Imaging in Orthopedic and Sports Medicine fellowship at the David Stoller Fellowship Program in Marin, CA. He then spent 5 years in a private practice in Mission Viejo, CA where he served as the Director of Musculoskeletal Radiology. Dr. Maruyama lives in Denver with his wife and daughter.
Raymond A. Mencini, M.D., F.A.C.R., is a board certified radiologist who specializes in Breast Imaging and currently serves as the Medical Director for the Advanced Medical Imaging Breast Center. He also presently serves as the President of the Medical Staff of St. Anthony Central Hospital, holding this position since 2008. Dr. Mencini serves currently on the St. Anthony Central Hospital Board of Trustees. The American College of Radiology conferred the degree of Fellow on Dr. Mencini in 2008. Dr. Mencini received his undergraduate degree from St. Louis University before completing his medical degree from Ohio State University College of Medicine. In Cincinnati, he completed his internship at The Christ Hospital, and completed his Diagnostic Radiology residency and fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. Dr. Mencini joined Colorado Imaging Associates in 1984, and helped develop the Vascular and Interventional Radiology service at St. Anthony Hospitals. Dr. Mencini was certified with Added Qualifications in Interventional Radiology. In his free time, he enjoys traveling and writing with his wife and delights in the company of his children and grandchildren.
Patrick Timothy Moore, M.D., specializes in Vascular and Interventional Radiology. Dr. Moore received both his undergraduate and medical degrees from Ohio State University in Columbus. He completed his internship at the Christ Hospital in Cincinnati and his Diagnostic Radiology residency as well as a fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. Board certified by the American Board of Radiology, Dr. Moore joined Colorado Imaging Associates in 1984. He has served on the Quality Assurances and Credentials Committees for St. Anthony Hospital and was Chairman of the Credentials Committee from 1993–1995. Dr. Moore was certified with Added Qualifications in Interventional Radiology in 1994. He served as President of Colorado Imaging Associates from 2000 – 2008. Dr. Moore's background includes a successful competitive collegiate athletic career. He currently enjoys many outdoor sports with his wife and three sons.
Jeffrey S. Moulton, M.D., a board certified radiologist, graduated from Colorado College in Colorado Springs before receiving his medical degree from UCLA School of Medicine. He completed an internship at the Christ Hospital in Cincinnati and a Diagnostic Radiology residency at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. He then completed a fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology, also at the University of Cincinnati. Dr. Moulton joined Colorado Imaging Associates in 1987. His primary areas of expertise are Thoracic/Abdominal Imaging and Vascular and Interventional Radiology. He has remained active in academic research and teaching, and has published several scientific articles and book chapters on interventional radiologic topics. He recently was certified with Added Qualifications in Interventional Radiology. Dr. Moulton, who enjoys running, skiing, and underwater photography, lives in the Denver area with his wife and two children.
Charles E. Norton, M.D., is board certified and specializes in neuroradiology. He completed his undergraduate degree at Colorado College in Colorado Springs. Dr. Norton went on to earn two M.S. degrees. The first was in Microbiology from the University of Pittsburgh. The second in Microbiology and Immunology from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center where he also completed his medical degree. Dr. Norton completed both his internship and residency at Presbyterian/St. Luke's Medical Center in Denver. A fellowship in neuroradiology was completed at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. In 1998, Dr. Norton joined Colorado Imaging Associates. He lives in the Denver area with his wife and three children and enjoys cycling and skiing.
Patrick J. O'Malley, M.D., is board certified and specializes in Magnetic Resonance Imaging. Dr. O'Malley completed his undergraduate study at the University of California, Los Angeles before attending medical school at the University of California, Irvine. He finished his radiology residency at the University of California, San Diego. Subsequently, he completed a fellowship in Magnetic Resonance Imaging at Long Beach Memorial Medical Center. Dr. O'Malley and his wife live in the foothills near Denver and enjoy skiing, hiking and traveling.
Craig E. Stewart, M.D., a board certified radiologist, specializes in Musculoskeletal Imaging. Dr. Stewart received his undergraduate degree at DePauw University and his medical degree at Indiana University School of Medicine. He completed a transitional internship at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital and went on to complete his residency at the University of California San Diego in Diagnostic Radiology. Dr. Stewart completed his fellowship in Musculoskeletal Imaging at the University of California as well. He joined Colorado Imaging Associates in 2008. Dr. Stewart lives in the Denver area with his wife and enjoys running, basketball, snow skiing, and spending time with family and friends.
Kenneth B. Reynard, M.D., F.A.C.R., is a board certified radiologist who specializes in Neuroradiology. After graduating from the University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Reynard completed his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia and his internship at the Hartford Hospital in Hartford, Connecticut. He then moved to Denver, where he completed his Diagnostic Radiology residency and Neuroradiology fellowship at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. He also serves as Assistant Professor of Radiology at USHSC. Dr. Reynard, who lives in the Denver area with his wife and two sons, is an avid sports fan who enjoys golf, skiing and attending the Olympic games. He joined Colorado Imaging Associates in 1977.
Steven P. Ross, M.D., is board certified and specializes in musculoskeletal imaging. He completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Texas in Austin and his medical degree at the University of Texas, San Antonio. Dr. Ross completed his internship in general surgery at UMC, San Antonio. His residency was completed at the University of Arizona in Tucson. A fellowship in musculoskeletal Imaging was completed at the University of California in San Diego. Dr. Ross joined Colorado Imaging Associates in 2002. He lives in Denver with his sons Jaxon and Sailor and enjoys playing golf, chess, guitar and snowboarding.
Roberto R. Spencer, M.D., joined Colorado Imaging Associates in 2000. Dr. Spencer is a board certified general radiologist. He completed his undergraduate degree at Texas A&M University and his medical degree at the University of Colorado in Denver. He completed his residency at the University of New Mexico and has a special interest in trauma radiology.
David A. Weiland, M.D., a board certified radiologist, specializes in Neuroradiology. Dr. Weiland received his undergraduate degree at Johns Hopkins University. He received his medical degree at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center and went on to complete his internship at St. Joseph Hospital in Denver. Dr. Weiland completed his residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Diagnostic Radiology, as well as a fellowship in Neuroradiology. He joined Colorado Imaging Associates in 2008.
Jeffrey D. Wicks, M.D., F.A.C.R., is a board certified radiologist renowned for his expertise in Ultrasound Imaging. Dr. Wicks earned his medical degree from the University of Michigan, where he also completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology and served on the faculty. Prior to joining Colorado Imaging Associates in 1987, Dr. Wicks served as Professor of Radiology, Chief of Diagnostic Imaging at the University of New Mexico Cancer Center, and Clinical Director of the University of New Mexico Center for Non-Invasive Diagnosis, a three magnetic clinical and research MRI facility. He held the position of Clinical Professor of Radiology at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center and in the past has served as Chairman of Radiology for St. Anthony Hospitals and President of Colorado Imaging Associates. He and his wife have two children who live in Denver. He enjoys golf and fly-fishing.
Kevin E. Woolley, M.D., specializes in neuroradiology. Dr. Woolley received his undergraduate degree at Brigham Young University, and his medical degree from the University of Utah. He completed an internship at Kaiser Foundation Hospital in San Francisco, and residency as well as fellowship in neuroradiology at Stanford University Medical Center. Dr. Woolley is board certified by the American Board of Radiology and has also received a Certificate of Additional Qualification in neuroradiology from the ABR. He joined Colorado Imaging Associates in 2001. Dr. Woolley and his wife are the proud parents of five children; they enjoy gardening, skiing, and hiking.
Susan P. Wu, M.D., is Board Certified in Diagnostic Radiology. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Boston University where she earned her undergraduate degree. Dr. Wu’s medical degree was completed at Pennsylvania State University. She finished a transitional internship at Tucson Hospitals Medical Education Program. Her Residency was completed at the University Of Virginia in Charlottesville followed by a Musculoskeletal Radiology Fellowship at the University of Virginia. Dr. Wu lives in Boulder with her husband and two children. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, mountain biking, and hiking.
